WHAT WE DO
Our answer to the challenge is not simply to preserve old products. It is to create a system where traditional knowledge can meet contemporary design, markets, and opportunity.
We identify, document, and support traditional craft practices — not just objects, but techniques, stories, materials, and the cultural knowledge that makes them irreplaceable. A craft survives when its knowledge survives.
We bring artisans together with designers, artists, students, and researchers — creating spaces where traditional knowledge meets fresh creative perspectives. Tradition provides the foundation. Design creates new possibilities.
We develop new products, contemporary applications, and design collaborations that keep traditional techniques at the centre while opening new possibilities. The artisan's knowledge remains central while new perspectives emerge.
We build pathways to consumer, institutional, corporate, and government markets — creating demand around craft rather than asking artisans to compete only on price. We create access, not dependency.
We work to create conditions where craft becomes a viable long-term livelihood — so that knowledge, skill, and cultural heritage can pass to future generations. Preservation without livelihood is fragile. We build both together.
Our workshops are not standard training programmes. They are knowledge exchange platforms where everyone learns.
Sharing traditional technique, material properties, and cultural context.
Bringing contemporary design, prototyping methods, and market insights.
Passing down hands-on craft skills and historical heritage to the next generation.
Introducing new ideas, experimental energy, and fresh visual approaches.
